VIC CAMARILLO
“VEGAS VIC”

Vic Camarillo was born in Mexico but considers Las Vegas his home. You'll often hear him reminiscing about growing up downtown and how much the city has changed. After his graduation from Valley High School, Vic enlisted in the military where he served a tour in Iraq. This would be one of the most difficult, formative, and rewarding experiences of his life. Little did he know, another life-changing experience was right around the corner. In 2013, Vic would begin a term in prison. It was during this time that he fully realized his interest and aptitude for art. He began painting and soon found himself in a little corner he would refer to as his art studio. Once his time was served, he was back in his home city with not much direction but took a gamble on starting a tattoo apprenticeship. He's since gone on to study under some of the best black and grey realism tattoo artists in the U.S. and continues to develop his skills to this day. After so many unique chapters of his life, he finally feels like he's found his place in the community he loves- a tattoo artist.
